Dutch shoemaker Floris Van Bommel, known for his unique view on fashionable footwear, proudly presented his newest collection. The name of this collection is ShoeFish, a reference to the pattern on the soles of this season’s Van Bommel shoes.
For the window that showcased this collection, we’ve created an underwater world using two blue backdrops in voile, a soft, sheer fabric. By placing these in the window, one in front of the other, those passing the window experience a sense of wavy movement – also known as the moiré-effect. It does not steal any of the collection’s thunder, though, as the shoes are presented on stacked rocks, making them the eye catcher of this aquatic-themed window that sucks you right in. As if you were scuba diving with Floris yourself.
